St Dogmaels is a great base to explore West Wales. It s only a 50 minute drive to visit St Davids, Tenby and Carmarthen. The local Walker's bus services operates throughout the summer and if you wish to use public transport to visit West Wales we recommend you plan your trip using the Traveline Cymru site.
From the south Option 1 via Narbeth
Take the M4 past Swansea joining the A48 to Carmarthen. At Carmarthen head along the A40 to Narbeth. At the roundabout by Narbeth turn right to Cardigan along the A478.
At the roundabout where the A478 meets the A487 go straight on down Castle Street towards Cardigan Town Centre and at the bottom of the hill turn left just before the bridge onto St Dogmaels Road.
Drive into St Dogmaels round the corner and into the High Street. Oriel Milgi is half way up on the right hand side.
You can pull into the front to unload and we have private parking space at the front and rear of the house.
From the south Option 2 via Newcastle Emlyn
Take the M4 past Swansea joining the A48 to Carmarthen. At Carmarthen take the Henfwich Rd B4333 and A484 to the A487 at Cardigan.
At the roundabout where the A478 meets the A487turn tight and go straight on down Castle Street towards Cardigan Town Centre and at the bottom of the hill turn left just before the bridge onto St Dogmaels Road.
Drive into St Dogmaels round the corner and into the High Street. Oriel Milgi is half way up on the right hand side.

From the north there are numerous routes mainly aiming for the A478 from Aberystwyth. Pass by Cardigan and as you cross the bridge at the roundabout where the A478 meets the A487 turn right down Castle Street towards Cardigan Town Centre and at the bottom of the hill turn left just before the bridge onto St Dogmaels Road.

Take the stunning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path around to St Dogmaels or alternatively join up with the PCP from the north. We are a 25 minute walk from Cardigan town centre.
