We therefore welcome well-behaved dogs and their owners. North Pembrokeshire is a great place to bring your dog, with many wonderful walks and beautiful dog-friendly beaches. We have two whippets and one lurcher x whippet who live in the house with us and can be seen soaking up the sun in the front window. They are very happy to welcome dogs into their house, but we do endeavour to keep them away from guests and other dogs unless they are requested.
Dogs are welcome to stay in our B&B. They are also allowed in our guest lounge/dining-room, but we do ask that you be aware that we have other guests staying and that your dog is kept on a lead whilst in the house. At busy times it may be preferable during breakfast to leave your dog in your car.
We are familiar with many of the best places to go with your dog and are happy to recommend walks or places to visit. Many of the beaches nearby are dog-friendly, although some to have dog bans during May – September. Poppit Sands (a five minute drive) is dog-friendly all year round, with only a small section of the beach where dogs are not welcome.
Many of the places we recommend to eat are pet-friendly and we are happy to provide suggestions for you.
Our dog-friendly room is Môr. However, if this room is booked online, or if you are hoping to bring more than one dog, please email or phone as we may be able to accommodate you.
Please note we reserve the right to charge for any damage or extra cleaning incurred. On the other hand, we recognize that sometimes accidents happen. Please inform us as soon as you can of any incidents so we have a better chance of dealing with them. (To date, we have never had to charge!)

The large sandy dog friendly beach of Poppit Sands is only a 5 minute drive or 40 minute walk away. Please note a small section of Poppit Sands beach to the left of the Lifeboat station has a ban on it for dogs between May and October, however the larger section still welcomes dogs all year round. This is a wonderful sandy dog friendly beach which we are lucky enough to walk on with our dogs every day. Alternatively a 20 minute drive and you can visit Newport beach, another lovely sandy beach to run on.
The 3 Dog friendly pubs are within a 10 minute walk as is the café in The Coach House House by the Abbey ruins, plus more places places to eat in Cardigan (a 20 minute walk) or you are welcome to bring food back to eat in the large communal lounge/dinning area with your hound.
