Rooms

We offer three en-suite guest bedrooms and the use of a large lounge/dining room. Guest rooms are found on the first floor of the house. The house itself has a rich and varied history. It’s been a sea-captain’s house, a grocer’s shop, a cobblers, Post Office (the old tin sign is in the front window) and a gallery. It was also home to the man who drove the first steam train into Cardigan. The name, Telynfa, means “music” or “harp” house. The house is totally non-smoking.

Our guest rooms include tea and coffee-making facilities (with locally-roasted, freshly-ground cafetiere coffee from Coaltown ; Welsh tea; fruit teas; fresh water and hot chocolate); fresh milk is available from the lounge.  All rooms have freeview tv/radio and dvd players, with a selection of dvds for you to borrow downstairs.

We believe it’s the details that make your stay special, with this in mind we supply Myddfai Toiletries in all our bathrooms; our sheets are 100% pure French linen, beautifully soft and naturally hypoallergenic and the beds are dressed with traditional, antique Welsh wool blankets. All rooms feature contemporary wooden shutters and bespoke, rustic Welsh ash headboards.

Prices range from £95 - £105 per room per night, including breakfast. During June, July and August, Coed  is only available to book for a minimum of two nights, although it may be available for a one night’s stay at late notice.

Special Extended Stay Rate:
Stay for three nights or more, and enjoy a 5% discount on the nightly B&B rate.
Stay for six nights or more, and enjoy a 10% discount on the nightly B&B rate.

Coed

It is the perfect room to spend a lovely evening getaway watching a dvd or curling up with a book.

The room is furnished with a large chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe. The bed is a super-king-size double which can also be arranged as two single beds. It is large enough to comfortably accommodate a travel cot, or put-up bed. The en-suite wet-room includes a luxurious rainwater shower. It is painted in cool eco-friendly 'Earthborn' colours.

Coed has a large range of artworks including a Joseph Beuys print and a beautiful original oil painting by James Naughton.

One or two nights bed and breakfast costs £105/night based on two people sharing.
